Dagestan
Background
As an indirect victim of the Chechen conflict, particularly affected by the massive flow of refugees, Dagestan has one of the poorest health records within the Russian Federation. Although a network of health services exists, the lack of equipment limits the population’s access to care. Women in rural areas are particularly vulnerable. MdM aims to help such women by supporting a women’s hospital.
